Two of our regular Volunteers placed in the top ten for Area VI. Pat Noble with over 108 hours and Anna Allen with over 44 hours
None of this would be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers! We would like to thank each and every one of you; your contribution makes our events possible.
We are always looking for volunteers for cross country fence judges, dressage judge scribes, dressage stewards, dressage score runners, hospitality trailer helpers, show jumping score runners, office helpers, show jumping stewards, and others.
Here is the link to the National Eventing Volunteers page: https://www.eventingvolunteers.com/
Click on the link “I’m a volunteer” – and you can sign up and get notified by email each time we have a recognized event and need help. We can approve hours worked, and depending on those hours, you are eligible to compete for volunteering for the most hours worked in Area 6 and receive a Grand Prize (one year it was a saddle!)
This link explains our Volunteer Incentive Program that is nationwide. As you collect hours through EventingVolunteers.com, you will be eligible for different prizes (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). It is a great way to get connected to the Horse World and help your community. https://useventing.com/events-competitions/volunteers.
Here is the link to the xc jump judge position that gives details on what to look for and how to properly judge a fence: https://useventing.com/events-competitions/volunteers/jump-judge-instructional-videos. These videos are GREAT – whether you know about horses or don’t – they instruct you what to look for!
This link is to all possible positions available at an Event nation-wide. We do not offer all these positions, however, if you sign up through the Eventing Volunteers page, you can see the positions Ram Tap runs during our event. Again, these videos are GREAT at teaching and helping to understand your position even if you have done it before or have never done it. https://useventing.com/events-competitions/volunteers/volunteer-videos.
